In my Tampa, FL divorce/family law case, what is difference between court ordered & private mediation?

Court-ordered mediation is where the parties are ordered to go to mediation by the court while the divorce or family law action is pending. Attendance at private mediation can be before you file for a divorce. Many times, we also consider using private mediation while there’s a divorce pending and if it is not ordered by the court, the parties can attend it voluntarily. Private mediation is when you use an attorney mediator for the mediation and the time you can spend attempting to come to an agreement is unlimited and agreed upon by the parties. If the court orders mediation, you will be ordered to a court facility for the mediation with a limited usually 2 hour time period, or the parties can choose to attend private mediation. Website literally says all relative adoptions, but when you call, the guy that answers says they only handle uncontested step parent adoption. Don’t lie on the website just to get people to call. If you do all relatives, retrain your answering people.

Excellent Service from Monica and the team. I am so thankful to have found this team to help me with my dissolution of marriage with a minor child.
