Do I have to pay alimony in a divorce in Florida?

Whether you have to pay alimony really depends on your circumstances. Alimony in Florida is based on both the person’s need and your ability to pay it. It also depends upon the length of the marriage. Alimony can be very complex and situational, so it is important that you seek counsel to determine whether you may or may not be subject to alimony payments. However, whether you have to pay alimony is not always definitive, and if it is contested, then a judge would decide based upon the Florida Statutes and sometimes his or her decision may be subjective.

Website literally says all relative adoptions, but when you call, the guy that answers says they only handle uncontested step parent adoption. Don’t lie on the website just to get people to call. If you do all relatives, retrain your answering people.

Excellent Service from Monica and the team. I am so thankful to have found this team to help me with my dissolution of marriage with a minor child.
