What are the disadvantages of alternative dispute resolution (mediation)?

There are very few disadvantages associated with mediation because you can work to resolve the issues in your divorce or family law case between the two of you and your attorneys via a mediator, rather than have the court decide your fate. There are cases in which the parties know that they will not come to an agreement at mediation no matter what the circumstances. However, in Hillsborough County you will still be ordered to go to mediation prior to a hearing before the judge, even if you do not think you can agree. Website literally says all relative adoptions, but when you call, the guy that answers says they only handle uncontested step parent adoption. Don’t lie on the website just to get people to call. If you do all relatives, retrain your answering people.

Excellent Service from Monica and the team. I am so thankful to have found this team to help me with my dissolution of marriage with a minor child.
