It really just depends on your unique case divorce or family law case. In a collaborative divorce, you’re paying the attorneys, you’re paying the financial adviser, and you’re paying the parenting coordinator or any other person who is giving advice in your case. So in theory, you’re paying several different people but it could be less money if that does help you come to an agreement because litigation can be very protracted. You’re dealing with depositions and sometimes you do have to bring in business evaluator and things like that so, in the long run it could be cheaper or more likely it will be more expensive. I say to talk to an attorney about it.
