Can I get a divorce in Florida if my spouse lives in another country?

As long as you reside in Florida for six continuous months you can seek a divorce in the county in which you reside in Florida, even if the respondent or the other party lives in another country. You would still need to serve that person though and that can be done via email if the two of you are agreeable. There are other methods of service. It is important to speak with an experienced divorce and family law attorney to determine what options you have available to you. Website literally says all relative adoptions, but when you call, the guy that answers says they only handle uncontested step parent adoption. Don’t lie on the website just to get people to call. If you do all relatives, retrain your answering people.

Excellent Service from Monica and the team. I am so thankful to have found this team to help me with my dissolution of marriage with a minor child.
