How is annulment different from divorce?
Annulment is a process where instead of ending your marriage by a divorce, instead it kind of erases your marriage as if your marriage never happened in the first place. You are not really dividing things. It is as if you never even entered into the marriage in the very beginning. There are restrictions to obtaining an annulment and if you do not meet any of the conditions, then you will have to go forward with a divorce.
